COMMUNICATION WHILE ON TOUR
Communicating effectively with your team members and support staff will ensure you have the best experience on tour.
Knowing different ways to communicate can assist you with everyday general conversations, help improve relationships and provide tools for challenging conversations.
SUPPORT WHILE ON TOUR
On tour you will have a support team in place to ensure you are best prepared and looked after.
In this section you can find out more about the team in place, the support network and who can assist you and how you can contribute and support your team mates. You will also find information on how to maximise and strengthen your support networks in day to day life, training and within your home club.
E-SAFETY & SOCIAL MEDIA
We all know the benefits technology brings to our lives, but it can also bring challenges. There’s no need to panic — the best way to manage these are to KNOW what can go wrong and what to do if you get into trouble. Online profiles have become a digital resume — anyone can google your name or check out your social media accounts, including potential employers, universities and others. This means it’s really important that you know what your online reputation looks like and how to fix it if you need to.

INFORMATION
All GNSW State Teams travel with a support team in place. The team includes a head of delegation, team manager, physio, coaches and judges.
The support team are in place to ensure athletes are well prepared for competition, well rested, have access to required medical needs and feel supported throughout the tour.
